Nile Foundation for Rural Development (NFRD) is nongovernment and nonprofits organizationt aimed at the development of villages in the northern state in particular and the Sudan and the region in general. the objectives of Centre is to improve the conditions of the villagers in rural eras of Sudan in terms of economic, health, educational and social development through in-kind assistance, technical support and study the problems of different groups within the rural community and the development of practical and scientific solutions to them. The Centre's activities are:- • Create job opportunities at rural level • Provide programs of rural development and awareness • Action researches and rural studies • mplementation of projects and development activities. • Help rural people to implement small projects. • To participate or supervise the implementation of development projects curried out by the government or non-governmental organizations. • Coordination with government institutions and international development agencies, educational and religious matters relating to the implementation of rural development. •Development of rural communities and management of human and natural resources available on the level of the countryside
